CloudCityFood Rider Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 27 January 2026 | Applies to: Delivery riders on the CloudCityFood platform
Introduction
CloudCityFood respects and values the privacy of its delivery Riders. This CloudCityFood Rider Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to the collection, use, storage, sharing, and protection of your Personal Data when you register an account, accept Orders, collect items, make deliveries, receive delivery earnings, or use other related functions through the CloudCityFood Rider application, Rider webpages, or other Rider service channels.
This Policy also explains:
- the categories of Rider information we collect;
- why we need to process such information;
- the circumstances in which we may share such information;
- how long such information may be retained;
- how you may access, correct, delete, or control your information; and
- how you may submit a privacy complaint or exercise your other rights.
Important Notice: Due to the nature of on-demand delivery services, the Rider App must use a Rider’s real-time location for Order assignment, navigation, delivery tracking, mileage calculation, and safety management. When you are “Accepting Orders” or actively performing a delivery, the Rider App will collect your precise location information. To maintain real-time delivery functions, location collection may continue in the background even when the Rider App is not displayed in the foreground or when your device screen is locked. Please carefully review Section 3.3, “Location Information,” before using the Rider Services.
Before registering for or using the Rider Services, please carefully read and understand this Policy. Where separate consent is required under applicable requirements or device permission rules, we will provide an appropriate permission request, prominent disclosure, or other notice and request your authorization.
Commitment Not to Sell Personal Data
CloudCityFood does not sell or rent your Personal Data and will not transfer your Personal Data to unrelated third parties in exchange for money or other commercial benefit.
Without your express consent, we will not provide Personal Data that directly identifies you to unrelated third parties for their own independent advertising or marketing purposes.
This Section does not prevent CloudCityFood from processing or sharing information where reasonably necessary to:
- verify a Rider’s identity and service eligibility;
- assign and manage delivery Orders;
- provide necessary delivery information to Customers and Merchants;
- provide mapping, location, navigation, and real-time delivery tracking;
- calculate delivery distance and Rider earnings;
- process earnings settlements through banks or KBZPay;
- provide customer support and handle complaints;
- prevent fraud, investigate incidents, or resolve delivery disputes; or
- comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, audit, regulatory, or judicial obligations.
Information We Collect
CloudCityFood collects Rider information only to the extent reasonably necessary to register Riders, provide delivery services, protect transactions, settle earnings, handle complaints, and fulfil applicable obligations.
3.1 Information You Provide
When you register a Rider Account, undergo eligibility verification, or use the Rider Services, you may be required to provide:
- your name, telephone number, and email address;
- identity documents, identity-verification information, and identification numbers;
- a driving licence, driving qualification, or other qualification required for delivery services;

- bank account, KBZPay account, or other payment account information used to receive Rider earnings;
- emergency-contact information or other contact details reasonably required for safety management;
- information you provide when accepting Orders, responding to Order issues, replying to ratings, reporting incidents, submitting complaints or appeals, or communicating with Customer Support; and
- Order photographs, collection evidence, proof of delivery, incident records, or other documents you voluntarily upload.
You must ensure that the information you provide is true, accurate, complete, valid, and relates to you. Where you provide another person’s information, you must ensure that you have obtained appropriate authorization from that person.
You must promptly update or notify CloudCityFood if your identity, vehicle, driving qualification, or payment information changes.
3.2 Information Automatically Collected When You Use the Rider Services
When you log in to or use the Rider Services, we may automatically collect:
- your IP address, device model, device brand, operating system, and system version;
- the Rider App version, language, time zone, and network status;
- device identifiers, application-instance information, and necessary security identifiers;
- login time, logout time, online status, and Order-acceptance status;
- operation logs, error logs, crash logs, and security logs;
- records of Orders accepted, rejected, cancelled, collected, delivered, and completed;
- delivery routes, delivery distances, travelled mileage, and delivery completion times;
- arrival time at the Merchant, waiting time, collection time, delivery time, and Order-processing time;
- Order acceptance rate, completion rate, cancellation rate, ratings, complaints, and violation records;
- delivery earnings, incentives, subsidies, deductions, adjustments, and settlement status; and
- information generated through cookies, local storage, software development kits, or similar technologies.
Device information, log information, and delivery data may constitute Personal Data where they are linked to your Account, telephone number, identity information, vehicle details, or Order records. Such information should not automatically be treated as anonymous information.
3.3 Location Information
3.3.1 Important Notice: Background Collection of Precise Location Information
To provide essential Rider functions, including intelligent Order assignment, map navigation, real-time delivery tracking, delivery-distance calculation, earnings settlement, safety management, and incident handling, the CloudCityFood Rider App collects your precise location information through GPS, Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and device-location services.
The Rider App may continuously collect your precise location when any of the following applies:
- you are logged in to your Rider Account and your status is set to “Accepting Orders,” “Online,” or another status under which you may receive Orders;
- you have accepted an Order and are travelling to the Merchant or collection point;
- you are delivering goods or an Order to a Customer; or
- the Order has not yet been completed and real-time location information remains necessary for delivery tracking, dispatch, or safety management.
To maintain real-time dispatch and delivery tracking, location collection may continue in the background even when the Rider App is not visible in the foreground, when you are using another application, or when your device screen is locked.
3.3.2 When Background Location Collection Starts and Stops
The Rider App will generally collect precise background location information only when:
- you are logged in to your Rider Account;
- you are available to accept Orders; or
- you have an active delivery Order.
When you have completed all active Orders and change your status to “On Break,” “Stop Accepting Orders,” “Offline,” or another status clearly indicating that you are no longer available to receive Orders, the Rider App should stop collecting background location information for dispatch and delivery purposes.
When you log out of your Rider Account, the Rider App should stop collecting background location information associated with Rider dispatch and delivery services.
There may be a brief delay in stopping location collection due to system synchronization delays, an Order status that has not yet been updated, an unexpected application closure, or device operating-system restrictions. CloudCityFood will take reasonable measures to minimize unnecessary location collection.
3.3.3 Purposes of Processing Location Information
We may use your location information and delivery-route records for the following purposes:
- Intelligent Order Assignment: To match you with nearby Orders based on your real-time location, availability, and existing Order status.
- Order Dispatch: To determine the distance between the Rider, Merchant, collection point, and delivery address.
- Real-Time Delivery Tracking: To display delivery progress and the Rider’s approximate real-time location to Platform dispatch personnel and the relevant Customer.
- Navigation Assistance: To provide directions to Merchants, collection points, and Customer delivery addresses.
- Mileage Calculation: To calculate delivery distance, actual travel distance, or other relevant chargeable mileage.
- Earnings Settlement: To calculate or verify delivery fees, incentives, subsidies, and other Rider earnings.
- Operational Management: To analyse delivery efficiency, waiting time, Order completion, and service-area operations.
- Safety Protection: To assist in verifying a Rider’s location in the event of loss of contact, a traffic accident, unusual stopping, or another emergency.
- Complaint and Dispute Handling: To verify necessary trip and route information in cases involving non-delivery, incorrect delivery, loss of goods, delivery abnormalities, or payment disputes.
- Fraud Prevention: To identify false delivery completion, abnormal mileage, irregular Order acceptance, or other conduct that may affect the rights and interests of CloudCityFood, Customers, Merchants, or Riders.
3.3.4 Display and Sharing of Location Information
During the delivery of an Order:
- the Customer may view your approximate real-time location and delivery progress;
- the Merchant may receive necessary status or location information relating to your arrival for collection;
- authorized CloudCityFood operations, dispatch, customer-support, safety, or finance personnel may access relevant location and route records where necessary to perform their duties; and
- mapping, navigation, location, or cloud-service providers may process necessary location information within the scope of services entrusted to them.
Except where necessary to complete a delivery, protect safety, resolve a dispute, comply with applicable obligations, or fulfil another purpose expressly stated in this Policy, CloudCityFood will not sell or arbitrarily disclose your precise location or delivery-route records to unrelated third parties.
3.3.5 Your Control Over Location Permissions
You may review or disable the Rider App’s location permissions through your device settings.
However, precise location and background location are essential permissions for Order acceptance, dispatch, navigation, and real-time delivery tracking. If you disable, reject, or restrict location permissions:
- you may be unable to switch to an Order-acceptance status;
- you may be unable to receive nearby Orders;
- the Platform may be unable to verify your arrival at a Merchant or delivery destination;
- navigation, mileage calculation, and delivery-earnings calculation may not function properly; and
- you may be unable to continue performing an active delivery Order.
Disabling location permissions will not automatically delete location or route records that were previously collected in accordance with this Policy or applicable requirements. You may request Account deletion or submit an applicable data request under Sections 12 and 14 of this Policy.

Basis for Processing Information
We may process your information on one or more of the following grounds:
- to perform the Rider service arrangement between you and CloudCityFood, including Account verification, Order assignment, delivery, navigation, tracking, settlement, and customer support;

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent. - protect Account and system security;
- analyse feature usage;

- improve App and webpage performance; and
- prevent fraud and abnormal activity.
You may manage such technologies through your device or browser settings. Disabling essential technologies may prevent certain Rider functions from operating properly.
Data Storage and Cross-Border Processing
Depending on the systems used by CloudCityFood and its technology providers, your information may be stored and processed in Myanmar or may be processed or hosted by authorized service providers located in other countries or regions.
Cross-border processing may include cloud hosting, mapping, location, technical support, or other processing services.
Where cross-border processing occurs, CloudCityFood will take reasonable measures to:
- restrict the purposes and scope for which the recipient may process the information;
- require the recipient to comply with confidentiality and security obligations;
- restrict unauthorized access, use, and onward disclosure; and
- apply security measures appropriate to the nature of the information.
Where separate consent is required for relevant cross-border processing, we will provide an appropriate notice and request your consent.
Information Security
CloudCityFood will implement reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature, sensitivity, and processing risks of Rider information to protect it against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.
Such measures may include:
- security measures for data transmission and storage;

- restrictions on employee and service-provider access;
- access logs, operational logs, and security monitoring;
- data backup and recovery measures;
- device, Account, and abnormal-login detection; and
- security-incident investigation and response procedures.
Precise location information and delivery-route records may significantly affect Rider rights and interests. CloudCityFood will restrict access to such information and retain it only for as long as necessary for Order assignment, delivery tracking, earnings settlement, safety management, incident investigation, dispute handling, or compliance with relevant obligations.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. If an information-security incident may materially affect Rider rights, we will take reasonable containment and remedial measures based on the nature of the incident and, where appropriate, notify affected Riders.
Data-Retention Periods
We retain Rider information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy.
Our general retention principles are as follows:
- Account and Identity Information: Retained while the Rider Account remains active and for as long as necessary for eligibility verification and provision of services.

- Order and Delivery Records: Retained for the periods required for tax, accounting, audit, regulatory, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Location and Delivery-Route Records: Retained only for as long as necessary for Order assignment, delivery tracking, mileage calculation, earnings settlement, safety management, and dispute handling, after which they will be deleted or anonymized.

After the applicable retention period expires, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise appropriately dispose of the information, unless continued retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, audit, regulatory, judicial, insurance, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Account Deletion and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your Rider Account through the Account-deletion function in the Rider App or by contacting CloudCityFood Customer Support.
After receiving a valid request, we will, within a reasonable period and generally within ninety (90) days, delete or anonymize Rider Account information that is no longer required.

Account deletion is final and cannot be reversed. Before requesting deletion, you must complete any active Orders and properly resolve outstanding earnings, appeals, incidents, and other unfinished matters.
Account deletion will not automatically release you from any Order, settlement, complaint, incident, violation, compensation, or other obligation or liability that arose before deletion.
Minors
CloudCityFood Rider Services are available only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and who possess the legal qualifications required to provide the relevant delivery services.
A person under eighteen years of age may not register a Rider Account, accept delivery Orders, or provide services as a CloudCityFood Rider.
If we discover that a minor has registered or used a Rider Account, we may immediately restrict, suspend, or close the relevant Account and may delete or restrict the use of the related information as appropriate.
Your Rights and Choices
Subject to identity verification, system capability, and reasonable legal restrictions, you may:

To protect Rider Accounts, earnings, and Order security, we may require identity verification and reasonable supporting evidence.
We may limit or refuse a request, after providing an explanation, where the request is clearly repetitive, lacks reasonable grounds, exceeds technical feasibility, interferes with a safety investigation, or may infringe the rights of another person.
You may submit a request by email to:
cloudcitymm@gmail.com
We will generally acknowledge receipt or provide an initial response within fifteen (15) Business Days. Complex requests may require additional time, in which case we will provide a reasonable progress update.

We may send you information concerning:
- delivery-reward campaigns;
- peak-hour incentives;

You may stop receiving non-essential marketing communications through the Rider App settings, applicable unsubscribe instructions, or Customer Support.
Stopping marketing communications will not affect Order alerts, Account-security notices, earnings-settlement notices, or other essential service communications.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Rider App may contain links, software development kits, or functions provided by third-party mapping, navigation, payment, banking, communications, insurance, or other service providers.
Information independently collected and processed by a third party is governed by that third party’s privacy policy and service terms.
CloudCityFood recommends reviewing the relevant third-party privacy notice before using such services.
This Policy does not govern information-processing activities independently carried out by third parties that have no service, control, or cooperation relationship with CloudCityFood.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in Rider Services, technology, business operations, applicable requirements, or information-processing practices.
We will provide reasonable advance notice through the Rider App, website announcements, email, or other reasonable means where a material change involves:
- collecting a new important category of information;
- introducing a significant new purpose for processing Personal Data;
- expanding the categories of recipients or scope of Personal Data sharing;
- changing how precise or background location information is collected;
- expanding the purposes for which location or delivery-route information is used;
- changing Account-deletion or data-retention rules; or
- materially and adversely affecting Rider rights.
General wording changes, contact-detail updates, or changes that do not materially affect Rider rights may take effect when published.
An updated Policy will not retrospectively alter processing activities completed before its effective date unless there is another lawful basis or we have expressly notified you.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you believe that CloudCityFood has processed Rider Personal Data in a manner inconsistent with this Policy, you may:
- send an email to cloudcitymm@gmail.com;
- provide your Rider Account information, relevant Order details, a description of the event, and the outcome you are requesting;
- provide reasonable identity or Order evidence where requested; and
- allow CloudCityFood to investigate and respond.
We will generally acknowledge receipt of the complaint and begin handling it within seven (7) Business Days.
After completing the investigation, we will inform you of the outcome or any further steps that may be available.
If you are not satisfied with the internal outcome, you may seek assistance from a competent consumer-protection, labour, transport, judicial, or other relevant authority.
